I am an Orthodontist. I graduated from Tashkent Medical Academy in 2003 after studying Dentistry Since then, I have accumulated 20 years of experience in working as a dentist. 

I have received training at the ‘All National Dental Center and Korean Orthodontic Research Institute’, in South Korea and was also a participant in the course “Micro Implant Anchorage Orthodontics Dentistry”, run by Kyungpook National University, South Korea in 2008.

In 2010-2013 I was a researcher of the department of Orthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry in Tashkent State Postgraduate Medical Institute.  

I have taken the course “Non-Surgical Mid-Facial Expansion with Micro-Implant Assisted Maxillary Skeletal Expander”, run in the USA by professor Won Moon.

I took part in the 2nd European Congress on Skeletal Anchorage by Dental-Event, in Moscow, Russia.

In addition, I completed a practical course in ‘Biomechanics in Orthodontics’ at a private clinic in South Korea. I have also been nominated as the best orthodontist in the competition by Unident Open.

I was the chief orthodontist and deputy medical director of the Unident clinic, Moscow.

I was a participant in the International MEAW (Multiloop Edgewise Arch Wire) course in Seoul, South Korea in 2019 and I am currently an instructor in the MEAW technique.

Plastic-Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeon, specialist Dr. Mahir Aliyev. Doctor Mahir Aliyev was born in 1973 in the city of Zagatala. In 1990, after graduating from secondary school No. 21 in Sumgayit city, he was admitted to the 2nd treatment-prevention faculty of AMU in the same year. In 1996, Mahir Aliyev graduated from the Medical University with honors having received the specialty "general surgeon". He started serving as a military doctor in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1996. In 2001, Mahir Aliyev was sent to Gülhane Military Medical Academy of the Republic of Turkey (GATA) to study in the field of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeon for his exemplary behavior and services. In 2006, Mahir Aliyev successfully completed his studies and received the title of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery specialist. In the same year, returning to his homeland, he continued to serve in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the General Clinical Hospital of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and in December 2017 he was discharged from the army with the rank of lieutenant colonel of the medical service. In 2018-2020, Dr. Mahir Aliyev worked as a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon at the Zafaran Hospital clinic. From March 2020 to the present, he continues to work as a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon at the Funda Hospital clinic. Aliyev Mahir participated in dozens of scientific and practical conferences in our country and in foreign countries, and gave speeches about his clinical and scientific experiences. His scientific articles have been published in many local and foreign medical journals.

Prof. Dr. Ümit Ertaş will make a presentation titled 'Emergency Approaches in Maxillofacial Surgery' at our congress.

Prof.Dr.Ümit Ertaş graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Dentistry in 1994.In 1999 he comleted his doctorate in Atatrük University Faculty of Dentistry,Department of Oral,Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery and got the ‘’DR.’’title.He was awarded the title of Professor at the same university in 2012.He has many national and international scientific articles and citations in international scientific articles. He gives numerous national and international conferences , seminars and courses on subjects such as maxillofacial surgery , orthognathic surgery ,traumatology,cleft lip palate and temporomandibular joint surgery.He is still the head of the Department of Oral,Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ataturk University Faculty of Dentristy.In addition,he established the Maxillofacial Surgery Service in Erzurum Atatürk University Health Research and Application Centre in 2019 and continues as the head of the Maxillofacial Surgery centre .

Maxillofacial trauma (MFT) is an important health problem frequently encountered in the emergency department. Although the cases are often accompanied by other system injuries, patients with isolated maxillofacial injuries can also be seen. The etiologies of MFTs vary among societies according to sociocultural structures. While the incidence of MFTs due to motor vehicle accidents is extremely high in developing countries, it is reported that the most common cause in developed countries is assault. It occurs due to factors such as gunshot wounds, animal attacks, and trauma. Cases such as fractures and lacerations, lodge abscesses, and airway obstructions due to hematoma occurring in the sublingual area are situations that require urgent intervention in maxillofacial surgery.

MD. PhD. PARVIZ ASLANOV

He was born in 1981 in Kalbajar city, Republic of Azerbaijan. He studied at Azerbaijan Medical University in 1999-2005.

After graduating from the university, he worked in the position of Otorhinolaryngologist at the Republican Clinical Hospital in 2006-2014. Later, he became the Chief Physician and Director of Lor Hospital. He is currently working in the position of Otorhinolaryngologist and Plastic Surgeon at Baku Health Centre and West Hospital.

He was a doctoral student of the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after Aziz Aliyev and conducted scientific research.

In 2022, in accordance with the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was conferred the scientific degree of DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN MEDICINE in the specialty of Otorhinolaryngology.

He has been a speaker and participant in more than 100 scientific meetings in the country and other world countries (America, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Turkey, etc.). In these conferences, he mainly discussed advanced techniques, latest technologies, new philosophies and piezo technology in rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, the basics of rhinoplasty approach with young surgeons, and more modern techniques with experienced surgeons.

In recent years, the most problematic topics in rhinoplasty around the world are:

● The use of grafts in the correction of the nasal tip;

● Good long-term results in patients with thick and thin skin

● Endoscopic costal cartilage removal in revision rhinoplasty with less scarring and less pain

● He continues his scientific research on the application of modern technological equipment (Piezo and Tour) in rhinoplasty and his articles are published in the best scientific journals of the world.

● He is the first doctor who applied Piezo (Ultrasonic) Rhinoplasty technique in Azerbaijan as the fourth country in the world.
