Dr. Christos Perisanidis is currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Athens in Greece. He obtained his Habilitation (Venia Docendi) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Medical University of Vienna and his PhD in Dentistry from the University of Athens.

Dr. Perisanidis has served as Associate Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. He has held various positions of leadership and expertise throughout his career, including Director of the Tumor Outpatient Unit, Director of the Head and Neck Oncology Tumor Board, and Director of the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Oncology and Microvascular Surgery at the same Institution. In addition, he is Scientific Director of the International Master Program in "Master in Clinical Dentistry - Periodontology and Implantology" at the University Clinic of Dentistry, Medical University of Vienna.

Prof. Perisanidis has contributed significantly to the field through his research and publications, collaborating with international research groups and authoring numerous peer-reviewed articles in prestigious medical journals. His expertise lies in the areas of Head and Neck Cancer, Microvascular Surgery, Dental Implantology and Facial Plastic Surgery. He has also played key roles in education and training, presently serving as the Education and Training Officer for the European Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery. Prof. Perisanidis has demonstrated his leadership abilities by organizing world-class courses at the Center of Anatomy of the Medical University of Vienna and actively participating as a plenary lecturer, keynote speaker, and chairman at various international courses and conferences.

S.M. Balaji is the Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon from Chennai, India; has his own exclusive craniofacial Hospital. He is the first PhD, from Govt. Tamil Nadu Medical University in the field of Maxillofacial Surgery. 

He is the current Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Maxillofacial Surgery (AMS), a pubmed indexed journal and Executive Editor of Indian Journal of Dental Research (IJDR). He is the Immediate Past-President of the International College of Dentists (ICD) India, Sri Lanka & Nepal Section, Immediate Past President of International Association of Dental Research-Asia Pacific region (IADR-APR) and President of IADR STAR network.

Prof. Dr. S.M. Balaji is the author of "The Textbook on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery," published by Elsevier which is currently the country's best seller and the prescribed book to be used by undergraduate and post graduate students alike. 

To his credit he has received numerous awards including the prestigious Dr BC Roy National Award, the highest of the Medical Council of India. An acclaimed speaker at National and international conferences, he has received Dr Ginwallah Trophy, the highest of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India twice. He has won various best scientific research awards including the ‘Modus Award of Merit – a cash award of 50,000 Yen’ for the Best Innovative Surgical Technique at the 6^th Asian Maxillofacial Conference, Tokyo. 

He has also delivered various orations including the prestigious Dr. MS Ginwallah Oration, the highest oration of Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India and the highly esteemed Dr R Ahmed Oration, the highest Oration of the Indian Dental Association. He has also represented the nation at various International forums including the ADA, FDI and IADR. 

He has been awarded the Brammaiah Sastri Award for ground breaking research findings in the field of reconstructive surgery using novel bone morphogenetic proteins by the Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists.

Recently he has documented his nearly 3 decades of surgical life in the form of Textbook “Clinical Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery. This is the first Indian authored book on Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery.

At present, he is the Honorary Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon to Victoria Hospital, Republic of Seychelles; Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Republic of Maldives; Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital, Republic of Mauritius and the Government of Mozambique and Swaziland.

Professor Rolf Ewers is currently Chairman of the CMF Institute Vienna, Austria. Raised in Dresden and Stuttgart, Germany, his final school year was spent as an exchange student in San Diego, USA. He studied Medicine and Dentistry in Freiburg, Germany. His Residency was started as a first-year Surgery Resident at the Downstate University in Brooklyn, USA, continuing his training as a Cranio-, Maxillo-facial and Oral Surgeon and finishing with his PhD in Freiburg, Germany. For 9 years, he was Deputy Chairman of the University Hospital for Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery in Kiel, Germany. Until October 2012, for 23 years he was Chairman of the University Hospital of Cranio-, Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery in Vienna, Austria and is also since that time chair of the CMF Institute in Vienna, which he continues to be until now.

Dr. Piranit Nik Kantaputra, a professor in medical genetics, is the director of Center of Excellence in Medical Genetics Research, Chiang Mai University and a faculty of the Division of Pediatric Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand. He graduated with Doctor of Dental Surgery from Chiang Mai University in 1986 and obtained Certificate and Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Minnesota, USA in 1990. He had a fellowship training in Clinical Dysmorphology with Prof. Robert J. Gorlin at the University of Minnesota during 1990-1991. His major research interest is finding the causes of rare and interesting craniofacial malformation syndromes, especially when teeth are involved. Recently his research team has identified the genes responsible for the smallest teeth and the biggest teeth in the world. Dr. Kantaputra has identified more than 13 new genetic syndromes with one bears his name, Mesomelic dyplasia, Kantaputra type. Dr. Kantaputra has published more than 110 international publications, and 4 book chapters. Recently Dr. Kantaputra’s group has identified 7 genes which are associated with mesiodens formation and oral exostoses. Dr. Kantaputra is an editorial board member of American Journal of Medical Genetics, Journal of Human Genetics, and International Journal of Dentistry.

He obtained his medical degree at the Semmelweis University, Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and his dental degree at the Semmelweis University Faculty of Dentistry in 2003. After that, he took part in PhD training at the Doctoral School of Semmelweis University. During and after his university studies, he regularly went on facial and maxillofacial trainings and courses abroad, in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Belgium. After university training, he became a specialist in dental and oral diseases, and from 2005 he attended the facial and maxillofacial surgery training at the Catholic University of Leuven and in 2010 obtained a specialist qualification in facial and maxillofacial surgery there. Currently, he is a consultant for cleft lip and palate surgery at the Pediatric Clinic of Semmelweis University and at the Catholic University of Leuven. He continues to work in Belgium as an maxillofacial surgeon. He primarily deals with surgery for facial developmental disorders, congenital and acquired facial deformities (cleft lip and palate surgery, dysgnathia surgery, facial aesthetic interventions).

After specializing in General Surgery I started my carrier 1972 in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and also in Handsurgery.In 1975 I opened the first replantation center in Europe with 24 hour service.Since that time Microsurgery was my main interest.In 1984 I became the head of the Plastic Surgery departement at the Klinikum rechts der Isar of the Technical University in Munich. 

I am a founding member of the „ International Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery“ and his sectretary 1981 till 1985 and  his president in  1991.

International I gave courses in microsurgery all over the world. I was president of our national societies and the founding president of the „ German Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery“

I am honorary member of 17 societies national as international. I got many national as international awards like the „ Deutsches Verdienstkreuz“ of t he German goverment and the honoury professorship ofthe medical university of Tajikistan.

In 2007  i had to retire from university to due age and started a privat office till 2020.

Bevor I retired from university I did with my team the worldwide first double arm transplanation. The patient is still doing very well.

After this I was awarded as „ Emeritus of excellence“ of the Munich University.

I am still travelling and operating with my son who is also Plastic Surgeon.

Since 1997 I was very often in Aserbayjan and I am proud to have friends in this country.

Dr. Alejandro Martínez is a Mexican board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon School of Dentistry. He completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital Regional 20 de Noviembre ISSSTE in Mexico, D.F, where he obtained an Academic Honorable Mention. He completed an Orthognathic and Temporomandibular Joint Fellowship from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, College of Dentistry, at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fl., under Dr. Frank Dolwick (1989-1990).   

Dr. Martinez is the director of his private practice at UVA Clinic Face Architects in Monterrey, Mexico. He is a Clinical Professor of Orthognathic Surgery in the Orthodontics Postgraduate program at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon, School of Dentistry. Associate professor at the maxillofacial surgery residency program on 20 of November Medical Regional Hospital ISSSTE and invited professor at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the University of Florida. He has also been invited as a European Board Examination Certification Process professor.

He is the Author and Co-Author of several national and international articles and book chapters in our specialty. He is an international lecturer recognized globally as a leading expert in corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery. 

Dr. Martinez has over 31 years of experience in research and treatment of complex jaw revision surgery, total temporomandibular joint (TMJ) replacement, snoring and obstructive sleep apnea treatment, dental implants, and dentoalveolar surgery. He receives numerous awards for his contributions to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. 

Dr. Martinez is a member of Mexican Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AMCBMC). Also a member of the ALACIBU ( Latin American Assoc. of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) and IAOMS (International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons).
